Chinese New Year, also called Lunar New Year, is an annual 15-day festival.
Learning Opportunities: Chinese New Year provides a rich context for learning across various areas such as language (learning new words and phrases), mathematics (counting with themed activities), and understanding the world (learning about traditions and geographical locations).
The planning seeks to spark children’s interests and excitement. Each document has a section on to add children’s interests and notes on previous observations based on development matters.
